The NAVARANGA is a dark hall of nine ANKANAS (ಅಂಕಣಗಳು). Its door way has DWARAPAALAKAS. On the lintel of the doorway is found a KAALINGAMARDANA. The western wall of the NAVARANGA has two turreted niches housing GANESHA and CHAAMDUNDI (ಚಾಮುಂಡಿ).The pillars in the NAVARANGA are round and bell shaped.
